Syphic was born around 2000 to 2001. It was open with the group effort of some friends who thought it would be cool to have me design some very basic html, personal pages with chat on the site. Well, after the first month they backed out and it become my own first site. As the years have progressed so has Syphic; from the design to what its purpose is. It started as a place I just put anything and everything I came up with on it; emails, games, background designs, jokes, voting, etc. As I grew in my talents and started spending more money; I started to split the different parts of the site into different sites hoping for more traffic, easier management, and oranization. As other sites grew and Syphic shrank; I changed my gears into other projects and changed Syphic to a hosting company. This is when the questions of "how did you get the name?" and "what does it mean?" come from.

Well, name came from Cipher with some changing around of the letters and the way its said is "Sigh" F ik. What does it mean? I do not know and have never put a meaning to it.

Now, as I have expanded into many other site; even ones I have opened and closed, not finished, or decided they were not as good as an idea as I thought; I have make it more into my personal portfolio of work and my central relay for all my sites.
